Paeds Liver Transplant at Bahria Hospitals
First ever successful pediatric liver transplant operation on a three-year-old girl. The operation was conducted by a team of doctors, led by pediatric liver and kidney transplant surgeon Dr Khalid Sharif and including Dr Faisal Hanif, Prof Dr Huma Arshad Cheema, undertaken as a complex operation, which lasted for more than 10 hours.
