Thanks to Chief Minister Punjab program children from very poor families are getting a second chance of life.

Akash had Tetralogy of Fallot, a congenital malformation with multiple defects in the heart leading to reduced oxygen saturation in the body. This is the picture of him on the day he went home after a successful Tetralogy of Fallot (TOF ) repair. His post operative course was difficult. Complicated due to his severe disease, malnutrition, delayed treatment at 6 years of age. Thanks to the dedication and hard work of our PICU team in Bahria Orchard Hospital Lahore, scores of high risk, complicated patients are going home after their heart operation.
